Support with Childcare Funding for Working Parents

When to apply for 15 hours funded childcare
- You can make an application from the birth of your child.
- Your child will be able to start their childcare place the term after they turn 9 months old.

When to apply for 30 hours funded childcare
- 30 hours a week if your child is 3 to 4 years from age of 2 years and 36 weeks

How to apply
You will need to set up a childcare account on the Childcare Choices website.
You will also need the following information for you and (if relevant) your partner
- your National Insurance Number
- if you’re self-employed, your Unique Taxpayer Reference
- the date you started, or are due to start work
- details of any other government support you get
