Helping you to take care of your mental wellbeing

We all have times when we feel low, anxious or overwhelmed and it’s not always easy to know what to do to feel better.

Here, you can find what works for you. We’ll show you simple and practical ways to ease anxiety, manage stress, lift your mood and sleep better.

If you need help urgently for your mental health, but it’s not an emergency, get help from NHS 111 online or call 111 and select the mental health option, or contact one of the organisations below to get support straight away.

Hartlepool Community Trust work with a wide range of services to improve and expand the support available in the town for mental health, poverty and other social issues.
 
Hartlepool Community Trust was established to prevent or relieve poverty by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Togetherall

Hartlepool Borough Council is providing free access for residents aged 16+ to Togetherall – a safe, anonymous 24/7 online community for mental health and wellbeing support.

Meet our Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team

Our Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team offer a range of emotional well-being support, advice and guidance to families during pregnancy and beyond.

They do this through providing support to families through telephone contact, home visits and clinic contacts. 

Pregnancy and parenthood can be a happy yet challenging journey which affects families in different ways. You may experience times when you feel stressed, anxious, worried or have started to be withdrawn feel sad or low in mood.

Support For Dads

We have a range of support available for Dads in Hartlepool, whether you’re a new dad or just a dad who needs support we have tailored support for all your needs. Click the buttons below to find out more. 
 
We also run a Dads Wellbeing Group every Thursday from our Middleton Grange Family Hub from 4pm until 5pm.
